Belford & Co “Luxury Escape to Byron Bay” Competition – Terms and Conditions

Promoter

The Promoter is Winteopia International Pty Ltd (ABN 13 116 972 313) & Belford & Co trading as United Cellars Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 95 111 797 623),(collectively referred to as "the Promoter Group"), located at Level 3, Suite 3.01, 8 West Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.

Eligibility

- Entry is open to residents of all Australian states and territories aged 18 years or over.

- Entrants must be legally able to purchase and consume alcohol in their state or territory of residence.

- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.

- Entry is not open to persons residing in territories where such competitions are prohibited by law.

Competition Period

The promotion commences at 12:00 AM AEST on 15 April 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM AEST on 15 July 2025. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must visit the competition landing page and complete the entry form. Only one entry per person is permitted. No purchase is required to enter or win.

Prizes

Major Prize (1 Winner):

A Luxury Escape to Byron Bay for two people, valued at over AUD $2,000, including:

- Return flights from an Australian capital city to the nearest available airport to Byron Bay.

- Two nights’ accommodation at Swell Byron Bay

- A beachfront dinner at Rae’s on Wategos

- Private airport transfers

Runner-Up Prizes (2 Winners):

Each runner-up will receive a Belford curated whisky pack featuring a whisky tasting set and a bottle of whisky selected by Belford (valued at approximately AUD $300 each).

Total prize pool value: approximately AUD $2,600.

Winner Selection

Winners will be chosen by random draw at the Promoter’s address (Suite 3.01, Level 3, 8 West Street, North Sydney NSW 2060) on 20 July 2025 at 12:00 PM AEST. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within five business days of the draw.

Prize Redemption and Blackout Periods

- The major prize must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of the winner notification.

- Redemption of the major prize is subject to availability and must be arranged in consultation with the Promoter.

The major prize cannot be redeemed during the following blackout periods:

- Christmas Holiday Period: 18 December to 31 January (inclusive)

- Easter Holiday Period: Two weeks before and two weeks after Easter Sunday (dates vary annually; for 2026, this period is from 15 March to 12 April)

The Promoter reserves the right to adjust blackout periods based on availability and operational requirements.

General Conditions

- Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable.

- The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with prize redemption, including but not limited to travel insurance, meals (other than those specified), and incidental expenses.

- By entering the competition, participants agree to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purpose of conducting the competition and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.

- The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) arising out of or in connection with the competition or any prize.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
